I loved the movie, even if I was a little annoyed by the characterization of the Huns.
Big Ol' High Horns to:

Pres Romanillos and his merry band for their beautiful, convincing animation. Shan Yu and his warriors were the best part of the movie. The grace, strength and realism of their movements--and the personalities hinted with such short screen time--were an inspiration. The Huns in Mulan are silent, wolflike, and perhaps some of the most beautifully animated characters ever to appear in a Disney Film. They flash across the screen in sepia tones and...pouf! Gone! (Leaving us wanting more.)

Directors Barry Cook and Tony Bancroft for letting the Huns be Huns
(even though they had far too little screen time)

Miguel Ferrer for his Honey-and-Thunder voice
